1 Days (Welcome to New Zealand, Auckland arrival)
Welcome to the ‘City of Sails’ – Auckland. On arrival at Auckland airport, you will be met by Plan Journeys representative who will assist you to transfer to your hotel in Auckland city. Self-drive passengers will collect their rental car for the exclusive usage for the entire trip from pre book counters. Check in to your hotel and relax. Later in the evening, enjoy the nightlife of this vibrant city of North Island New Zealand. Overnight at your hotel.
2 Days (City tour of Auckland)
Breakfast in your hotel and get ready for the city tour of Auckland which includes the major sights like Westhaven Marina, Waterfront, Viaduct Harbour, Baston Point, Tamaki Drive and Auckland’s oldest suburb – Parnell. We also recommend you to pay a visit to iconic Sky Tower in Auckland city for best view of the whole city. Later in the evening, try out various dining options which the city offers to the travelers from all over the world and come back to your hotel for an overnight sleep.
3 Days (Waitomo Caves & Rotorua)
Today in the morning after breakfast check out from your hotel and proceed to the city of Rotorua – famous for its mud pools, hot springs and Maori culture. Enroute to Rotorua we will visit the fascinating Waitomo Glow Worm Caves with guided services, it’s a must see attraction when you are in New Zealand. You will be amazed to see the beauty of this place as you glide silently through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto. Later continue your journey to Rotorua and check in to your hotel on arrival.
4 Days (Rotorua sightseeing)
After breakfast in your hotel today we will take you to half day city tour of Rotorua which includes Te Puia – for experiencing Maori culture, Thermal Valley of roaring geysers, steaming rivers and boiling mud pools. Later we will visit Rainbow Springs and get up close to the native and interesting animals of New Zealand followed by the famous Agrodome Sheep show. Later in the afternoon, we will go for the exciting tour of Hobbiton Movie Set in Rotorua. Come back to your hotel in the evening for an overnight sleep.
5 Days (Rotorua to Auckland)
Today in the morning, after breakfast check out from your hotel and travel back to Auckland and the journey takes about 3.5 hours. On arrival, check in to your hotel in Auckland and relax. The day is free for you to enjoy the optional activities or you can go for last minute shopping in Auckland. 6 Days (Departure Day)
